Census Testing for Employment Opportunties Visit Town Hall
Ticketing Information:
Monday through Friday between 8:30 am and 3:00 pm the census will be taking applications and testing potential employees for positions with the Census at the Yorktown Town Hall.
Applicants must take a written test of basic skills.
Testing is 9:30 am and 1:00 pm weekdays. Testing takes approximately 1 hour.
Positions with Census have flexible hours and pay between 8.25 and 15 hourly.
Individuals must be 18 years of age and have a valid Social Security Number.
US citizens will be given preference for census jobs, however, noncitizens may be considered if qualified are not available, particularly in areas where bilingual ability is a necessary qualification.
Other restrictions may apply.
The Census will be on site the days that the Town Hall is open.
