As a reminder, Yorktown's trick-or-treating hours will be from 6–8 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 31. Please follow health and safety guidelines from the Delaware County Health Department:

- Parents and children ages 8+ should wear a mask while trick-or-treating.
- It is recommended that you carry and use hand sanitizer as you are out trick-or-treating.
- Avoid crowding, and give others space.
- People handing out candy should preferably distribute candy themselves instead of allowing children to rummage through a bucket and choose their own; having candy in pre-set dixie cups or bags for children to take would also suffice.
- Those passing out candy are also advised to remain outdoors to minimize your door/doorbell from being a high-touch surface.

As always, please be respectful to those who are not participating in trick-or-treating; only visited trusted homes and those are clearly participating in the festivities.
